Ogun State’s CP Bode Ojajuni, who serves as co-chairman of the Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES), has assured the public that security forces will work to ensure that the general elections of 2027 go off without a hitch.
This promise came from Ojajuni on Tuesday during his speech at a forum for election stakeholders at the INEC headquarters in Abeokuta.
Security agencies, electoral stakeholders, and traditional institutions must sustainably collaborate, the Commissioner of Police stressed.
Before, during, and after the elections, he assured that ICCES would maintain aggressive security measures and regular engagements.
“In Ogun State, we shall show that we are unique by refusing to tolerate electoral violence.
“We shall see to it that the general election in Ogun State is conducted without violence,” he declared.
