The Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, has been called a lucky man by Minister of Works David Umahi.
During a project monitoring exercise on Thursday, Umahi addressed supporters and denied disparaging the previous governor of Anambra State.
The minister claims that Obi is fortunate since people are still talking about him even though he challenged them to confirm his accomplishments.
“People claim that Peter Obi is being insulted by the Igbos. No rational person would insult him, in my opinion.
He remarked, “I want to say that Peter Obi is a lucky man because some people are still talking when you tell people to go and verify and they see nothing.”
The minister said that when President Bola Tinubu is being challenged, the NDC presidential candidate shouldn’t expect his staff to keep quiet.
“You expect us to remain silent if you are opposing President Bola Tinubu and he is using us to further his agenda? We won’t remain silent.
“You bring judgement upon yourself when you blame others. When you claim to be more holy than the angels, we must examine your claim to determine its veracity,” he continued.
