When Shettima accuses Obi of being a “master of bogus statistics,” Kwankwaso fires back.In response to Vise President Kashim Shettima’s characterisation of Peter Obi as a “master of bogus statistics,” Rabiu Kwankwaso, the vise presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has defended Obi.
On Thursday, Kwankwaso made the comment while appearing on Politics Today, a show on Channels Television, that everyone makes errors or has a slip of the tongue every once in a while.

In response to the comment, Kwankwaso stated that he was a regular listener to Obi and that he verified most of the data that Obi offered.
“I pay close attention when Peter Obi speaks, and I always double-check the numbers, and the most of them are accurate. The one catch is that we humans are fallible and prone to slips of the tongue.
So it makes me glad that our presidential candidate knows his or her way around numbers, not only in America but across the globe, in Asia, Europe, and everywhere else. In Kwankwaso’s opinion, that bodes well.
