The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is not better than him, according to Works Minister Dave Umahi.
At the “Operation Rescue Benin-Asaba Road” event on Thursday in Benin City, Edo State, Umahi made this declaration.
Speaking at the ceremony, Umahi emphasised that “it is not yet our turn” and predicted that Nigeria’s president would eventually come from the Southeast.
In response to remarks that Obi wasn’t his “match,” According to Umahi, such a comparison ought to take into account their contributions to the Southeast, records of service, intellectual prowess, and familial origins.
Is it in terms of intelligence?
“Is it in what we’ve done for the Southeast people? “Is it what we did as governors?” he enquired.
