Halimat Tejuosho, the suspended Southwest Women Leader of the City Boy Movement, has been taken into custody by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC.
Dele Oyewale, an EFCC spokesman, told TheCable on Saturday that she is in their custody.
Remember that Tejuosho was listed as wanted by the anti-graft bureau for alleged fraud in April.
She was wanted for allegedly using false pretences to obtain money.
Oyewale declared, “She is in our custody.”
She is from Lagos State, according to the EFCC at the time, and her last known home was House A26, Aso Grove Estate, Maitama Extension, Abuja.
The commission then requested that Nigerians who had important information regarding her whereabouts come to its office or the closest police station.
While the investigation is ongoing, she is now being held by the EFCC.
