Due to security breaches during home games this season, the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has issued a warning to Barau FC.

A video footage of club stewards intruding onto the pitch after the match between Barau FC and Kwara United FC on matchday 10 was circulated on social media, according to NPFL Chief Operating Officer Dr. Ayo Abdulrahman.
According to Abdulrahman, failing to adequately monitor such behaviour could result in a serious security violation.
The club faces fines if a similar event happens in any of its future home matches, according to the league body.
Moving ahead, it emphasised the importance of the club making sure all security protocols are followed to the letter.
