Rabiu Kwankwaso, the prospective presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), has criticised governors chosen by the All Progressives Congress (APC), claiming that they lack authority.

In an interview with Arise Television on Tuesday, Kwankwaso made the claim. He claimed that the governors under President Bola Tinubu are not as strong as they were in 1999 and that he does not envy them.
He claims that many of the present governors cease listening to advise after entering Government House with the belief that they have vanquished everyone.
