In an Instagram video, Cute Abiola stated that he had seen firsthand cases of police abuse and harassment in the state, and that this must end.

The content author stated that he had spoken with both the previous and present state police commissioners about the matter and had brought it up multiple times.

He claims that allegations from young people and films going around internet indicated that the alleged brutality was going on even though police officials had said that the occurrences had ceased.

He recounted how the present police commissioner informed him that he was misled by parts of the footage and that the cops in question were part of a tactical team.

Cute Abiola, on the other hand, claimed to have seen firsthand some of the occurrences and mentioned that the cops were frequently in civilian attire.

“This can no longer continue in Kwara; in the event that the police harass you, I have included phone numbers you can use. He asserted that they lacked the legal authority to seize his phone.

In his statement, he emphasised the need of residents reporting harassment to the appropriate authorities, including the Commissioner of Police and the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO). He also included his personal assistant’s contact information.

Accusations of police brutality must end, the content creator emphasised, saying that Kwara State should continue to be a peaceful and harmonious place.
