American company dares to sue Tinubu over drug allegations: “We are prepared to defend ourselves

Reports have surfaced linking Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu to a history of drug trafficking; the policy advice and lobbying firm Von Batten-Montague-York, based in the United States, has stated its willingness to defend any prospective lawsuit about this matter.

This was said on Friday by von Batten-Montague-York in a statement released on their verified X Twitter.

Recall that Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma, a former lawmaker, had threatened legal action against the company due to a report that supposedly implicated President Tinubu in drug trafficking.

“The Nigerian government and its officials are always doing the same desperate things. After we filed our lawsuit, we anticipated that President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria and his associates would try to scare us into abandoning it by threatening to sue us for anything and everything.

Our next move will be a legal threat from President Tinubu and his associates over our claim that the moon is not composed of cheese.

This team is ready to defend itself in a court of law. A US court should consider allegations that President Tinubu is trying to prevent the Nigerian people from having free and fair elections; we are open to the possibility of that happening,” the business tweeted.
