Funke Akindele, a well-known actress in Nigeria, has spoken about how the strains of stardom and public scrutiny cause her to cry in private.
The actress spoke up about her personal issues in an interview with CNN, where she discussed how people fail to notice her pleasant public persona and her internal struggles.
“I bawl. I retreat to my room, sob uncontrollably, and slam on the bed. However, Akindele asserted that he simply gets back up and keeps going.
Additionally, she shared that there are moments when she feels anxious about how others view her and questions her own judgement due to public opinion.
Again, you’ve made a mistake, I tell myself sometimes. “How will others perceive you?” she asked.
Akindele, on the other hand, claimed that she has learned to dust herself off and keep going, even in the face of harsh criticism.
